Anatoly Vorontsov: Started his music career about ten years ago in a clasic manner - he made his first rock band being the student of a high school, meanwhile using his first synthesizer he was producing his first own tracks at home which could perfectly fit the Bertoluchi movie soundtracks but couldn't associate well with a fourteen years old teen. Noone could expect the ascent of Anatoly as a professional musician while in 1999-2000 he launched his first progressive trance project Caffe which he used to manage not only as a producer but as a manager too. The project has lifted up really quickly on russian dance scene alongside with some other famous russian producers to that moment. It's first huge success came when the only russian dance radiostation "Station 2000" put the guys track "Albinoni - Adagio G moll/Tornado" in a really hot rotation with support of the most popular russian deejays. On March 2000 Anatoly releases the "Caffe - Planet 21" track through "Electric Records" label which is the sister label to the bigest russian record company "Soyuz". In 2001 Anatoly continues his way with Oko project which he started with Nick Kuibida and Roman Orekhovsky. The project was oriented on leftfield electronica music that has fit Anatoly much better as a producer and composer. "Oko - this is the music we want to produce, it's the reflection of my philosophy, our soul...but it has no place on the russian market. From the very beginning Oko was oriented on the foreign music market and that was the only proper way to go with such a stuff" - Anatoly says. On March 2002 Anatoly Vorontsov signed Oko to one of the most popular UK dance labels in a history - Hooj Choons. The label have had to release the single and the album. While Red Jerry (Hooj boss) was in Moscow with his deejay gigs he visited the school where Oko studio established and said: "....and this is the place russian talents work in?!.......If only kids could know who is situated behind the wall they got their classes!.....Russian Royksopp!!!".... It's a pitty but the album wasn't released on Hooj because of the label's official closing. Before the label went into a history it has released the "Le Future Le Funk" album. Oko's "Because" track co-produced by Red Jerry was included into the album which was released on CDs and also the track was chosen to be put on the limited LP edition alongside with the Mirways and Royksopp tracks. During the last three years Anatoly has also managed to produce a lot of tracks for different russian electronic musicians. In the year 2002 Anatoly starts his own label IIqmusic which he use to manage to the moment. He opened it's doors to a huge variety of russian dance producers and on October 2002 he releases the first album - IQMusic Presents: The Compilation 001 "Boutique Electronique". - IQMusic Rec. 2002 with lots of russian music on board. Being a big internet fan Anatoly used it to find the talented musicians for his debut label release. That was the reason he entered a small web page of a guy who called himself Dj Electric (Konstantin Lyubimov).
Konstantin Lyubimov: Since Konstantin was in a school he started to learn dancing. His skill grew up while he entered the professional dance school and soon he took place in the national latino dance competition and won it being only at the age of fifteen! His dance career was really impressive before he first visited a night club with his older brother in 1998. Since that moment Konstantin became a big fan of dance music which impressed him much. In the year 2001 Konstantin tried the first time himself as a DJ and got really a great responses from the clubs he played in and promoters who invited him. He took "Dj Electric" professional name and started to work hard to polish his dj skill as well. But there was not enough for the guy like that! Combining his rhythm sense with his willing to make something with his own hands he is buying his first PC station and begins his steps into production area of the clubbing. Being a fortune lover his first track "Reality" which he put on his web page catched Anatoly's sight and been released on "Boutique Electronique" album. After the album is sold Konstantin accepts Anatoly's idea to try to produce the collaborate track which was the beginning of Koala band!
Nickolay Kuibida: Being a schoolmate of Anatoly he first took the electro guitar in his hands when Anatoly asked him to be the front man of their school rock band. Nickolay started to write songs for the band at the same time with his efforts to learn the guitar wisdom. He suddenly understood that he really loves the occupation Anatoly brought him in and that wasn't unusual as he was really successfull on this field. Nick's songs where loved by all members of the band he wrote them for. On the other hand Nick started to sing the songs and became a real frontman during the band live acts. The band did really well but it has to be finished when suddenly guys grew up. In spite of everything Nick and Anatoly never finished to work together and continued the collaboration when they started their own Oko project with Roman Orekhovsky in 2001. Since that time Nickolay has written a plenty of tracks and songs together with Anatoly and has sung some of them. Being an official guitarist of Oko he produced all guitar parts and recorded them for the album Hooj Choons had to release. Nickolay has wrtitten "Because" track with Anatoly which was soon released on "Le Future Le Funk" album. After the label went into liquidation Nickolay stopped his work for Oko and has accepted to become the equal member of a new band Koala started recently by Konstantin and Anatoly. Almost all vocals you hear in Koala tracks are written and performed by Nickolay!
